Collaborations & Stories

At Robert Emile we believe the most exciting ideas happen in the space where creative worlds collide. Our collaborations are never mass-produced collections - they’re one-off experiments in design, storytelling and craftsmanship, bringing together unexpected people, disciplines and cultures to create something truly unique.

Charlotte Rose x Robert Emile: “Macbeth (A Dagger of the Mind) ⵜⴰⴽⵓⴱⴰ ⵏ ⵓⵎⵉⴹⴻⵏ” Woven to Life

We are thrilled to present our exclusive homeware collaboration with London-based pop artist Charlotte Rose, bringing her striking Macbeth series to a new dimension.

Charlotte Rose - a Scottish-born, London-based pop artist - has earned acclaim for her bold fusion of mid-20th‑century cigarette branding and literary motifs. Her Macbeth (A Dagger of the Mind) series, in particular, melds iconic Marlboro-style visuals with Shakespearean themes of mortality, fate, and human fragility, offering a provocative reflection on the seductive illusions that brands sell - and the darkness behind them  .

With Robert Emile, Charlotte’s work finds new form, meticulously hand-woven into a bespoke carpet collection that preserves every nuanced detail of her vision. Each rug subtly echoes the imagery, texture, and symbolic resonance of Macbeth, rendered in sumptuous wool and finely tuned to capture both the drama of the original and the tactile elegance of luxury weaving.

In this collaboration, the raw edge of pop art meets the enduring craft of carpet-making - creating homeware pieces that are as visually compelling as they are richly storied. It’s a marriage of bold artistic commentary and artisanal expertise that celebrates both Charlotte’s conceptual depth and Robert Emile’s dedication to artistry

Charlotte Rose’s ‘Macbeth’ series explores illusion, vanity and downfall — using pop-iconography to strip back the seductive power of brands and reveal the darker human truths beneath. In translating this work into hand-woven carpets with the Amazigh women of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, we unite two complex identities: Charlotte’s commentary on ambition and mortality, and the Amazigh’s own centuries-long struggle for cultural survival in North Africa.

Each piece is therefore produced in extremely limited numbers, echoing both Macbeth’s timeless warning about the price of power, and our shared commitment to preserving an ancient, endangered artform through intention, meaning and ethical collaboration..

Charlotte’s pieces are available exclusively via her website and social media platforms.

“I’m not interested in the tormented artist trope. I’m very positive, and I’m trying to be joyful and authentic in what I do.”

ROBERT EMILE HQ X SCRAMBLER OF LONDON
“A Triumph on Wool” - an unexpected collision of worlds.

Safest PArking in London

A story of Mud, Tarmac and Comfort - Life of a Triumph Scrambler

“A Triumph on Wool” — where rebellion meets ritual

It started with a rug and a motorbike. Not the most obvious pairing — but then again, nothing worth remembering ever is.

In my riverside London loft, we rolled a jet-black 900cc Triumph Scrambler belonging to Jasper of Scrambler of Londonacross the polished concrete floor and parked it right in the centre of a vintage white Beni Ourain rug from my private collection. Suddenly, two worlds collided: the raw steel arrogance of British engineering and the quiet poetry of hand-woven Amazigh wool, knotted in mountain villages far from the Thames. Brutal meets soft. Rebellion meets ritual.

Jasper — the man behind cult Instagram page @scrambleroflondon — is known for his cinematic take on moto culture: midnight rides, black coffee, 35 mm film, fitness and perfectly broken-in leathers. He isn’t interested in speed, but in soul— in texture, patina and the quiet power of things built to last. Which made him the perfect collaborator for this visual dialogue.

What emerged was more than a photo: it was a story about craft, culture and contrast — proof that beauty doesn’t need permission, only imagination.
